Vision

Todmorden Unitarian Church provides benefits to the people of Todmorden and Calderdale as a beautiful and welcoming place to celebrate the ceremonies of life. It is also a key venue for all communities to come together and share arts events and contribute to the local cultural economy.

Mission

Our voluntary committee seeks to make the church a busy and well used venue through good administrative systems, transparent policies and good relationships with users, clients and the local community. We will build partnerships in Todmorden and West Yorkshire to offer quality ceremonies and events, and will connect with the practice of Unitarians nationally and internationally. We will adhere to the policies and practice of the present parent body and building owners Historic Chapels Trust.

Values

We value kindness and transparency in our everyday dealings between committee members, stakeholders and building users.

This includes a wide range of duties, from the care and upkeep of the bell tower and the extensive grounds to venturing in to the vaults, from documenting and preserving the historical documents relating to the church, to planning future events.
